The most Parisian Palace, located few steps from the Arc de Triomphe, is the ideal place to immerse yourself in this unique sporting season!

This summer, Paris will host the most eagerly awaited event in recent years. Here is some key information to help you prepare for your visit to the City of Lights:

The different security perimeters


Blue perimeter
Motorised vehicles not authorised except with a free pass.
Pedestrians and cyclists 100% authorised!

Red perimeter
Motorised vehicles are prohibited except with a Games Pass (issued by the Préfecture de Police).
Pedestrians and cyclists 100% authorised!

Black perimeter
Where searches and pat-downs are carried out.

Grey perimeter
Competition site only for: athletes, ticketed spectators and accredited persons.
No motorised vehicles allowed!
Only “VISA” payment products and cash are accepted.

Activation & deactivation of perimeters on ‘competition sites’

Activation 2h30 before the start of the first race
Deactivation 1 hour after the end of the last race

Special case 8 days before the opening ceremony ‘from 18 to 26 july’

As part of the mine clearance operations on the route of the opening ceremony and in order to guarantee a continuous safe zone, the GREY perimeter is accessible to pedestrians and cyclists only with a QR code!

What methods of payment are available on the Paris 2024 sites?

Only “VISA” debit, credit and mobile payment products, as well as cash, will be accepted in the official shops and catering areas at the Olympic and Paralympic venues.
For people who do not have Visa payment methods, Visa prepaid cards can be loaded by visiting a “Visa Prepaid Card Area” or by downloading the Visa Go application
