To celebrate the new flagship, Globe-Trotter created an exclusive Paris capsule collection only available in-store and at Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris. Taking inspiration from the coat of arms belonging to François Antoine de Boissy D’Anglas, who the street where the Flagship is located on is named after, the interior lining on each case features a mirror motif with an acanthus leaf wrapped around its base. While the mirror symbolises wisdom and knowledge, the leaf design is a nod to the Rococo era when de Boissy d’Anglas was prominent but was also used regularly to show off the excellence of the craftsman.

A Trudon classic, the Classic Candle fits all occasions; perfumes each and every room. Available in all scents, it is the most iconic. They are manufactured at the Trudon workshop in Normandy, France, using unrivaled know-how inherited from master candle makers.

Founded in 1643, on the threshold of the reign of Louis XIV, Trudon is the oldest Candlemaker in the world still active today. Throughout the 17th century, the manufacturer became the Royal Wax Manufacturer and official supplier in the French court, then to Napoléon Bonaparte. Trudon received a Gold Medal during the 1889 Universal Exhibit as a reward for the outstanding quality of its candles and wax. Trudon enlists well-known “noses” to create perfumes for the stories it wishes to tell. Each candle is still dripped and made by hand in its factory in Normandy, perpetuating a luxury manufacturing that helps perpetuates the skills of its founder, Claude Trudon.
