Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris & Tiffany Bouelle offer a highly artistic exhibition open to all Palace guests and passers-by.
Throughout the month of March, Tiffany Bouelle has chosen the most artistic of Palaces as the venue for her next solo exhibition, presenting a collection of works inspired by the mythical Japanese spiritual tale “Tsuru no Ongaeshi”.
With the gentle echo of the Japanese seasons, this series of paintings rises like dreams woven from the pages of the immortal tale of Tsuru no Ongaeshi. In her paintings, Tiffany highlights the significance of each season, intertwining them with the grace of cranes, symbols of longevity, happiness and prosperity, carrying with them tales of transformation and renewal.
The artist’s main aim in creating this calligraphy was to offer a window into the richness of Japanese nature: the dancing flowers of spring, the natsu mikan and yuzus bathed in summer light, the extravagant leaves of autumn…
From Wednesday 6 March 2024 until the end of the month, the Palace’s famous mirrored grand staircase will be adorned with a fresco, and the lobby and corridors will be the setting for a stroll through the art of Tiffany Bouelle. Guests will be able to observe every brushstroke that reveals an intimate connection with nature and a deep appreciation of its unchanging rhythm.
Through these paintings, the seasons become allegories of life itself, offering lessons in transience, cyclicality and ephemeral beauty. They remind us that, like flowers that bloom and fade, every moment of life is precious and fleeting.
