To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the iconic ‘Serti sur Vide’ collection, Repossi, the Place Vendome jewelry Maison beloved for timeless, avant-garde designs is joining forces with Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris to underscore the House of High Jewelry’s commitment to modern and contemporary Art.
A tribute to the concept of Full and Void
Inspired by Maison Repossi’s ‘Serti sur Vide’ collection, the unique collaboration reflects the distinctive aesthetic of the jewelry house: pure and defined lines complemented with a touch of unpredictability.
The décor at Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris, showcasing different shades of green and silver, the chromaticsignature colors of Maison Repossi, embodies a celebration of design in all its forms.
A Christmas tree that blends tradition and modernity
The centerpiece of the festive decorations blends tradition with modernity: an off-center Christmas tree is inspired by the clean lines and emblematic collections of Repossi, characterized by stacking, asymmetry, the play of rings and the repetition of minimalist lines. The unexpected interpretation of holiday décor transcends conventional Christmas delights. A majestic, more traditional tree is positioned in the center of the lobby, paying homage to the ‘pear’ diamond, a signature of Repossi.
The Art of High Jewelry and Pastry intertwine
In honor of the collaboration, Maison Repossi and Yazid Ichemrahen, Head Pastry Chef at Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris, designed an exclusive dessert that perfectly embodies the spirit of the holiday season, fusing the avant-garde nature of the jewelry house with the refined elegance of the Parisian Palace. Further inspired by the Serti sur Vide’ collection, Yazid Ichemrahen has transformed his Art of pastry-making into a rare tribute to high jewelry.
During his visit to the Repossi flagship at 6 Place Vendôme – an architectural masterpiece designed by Rem Koolhaas – the Chef was captivated by the minimalist architecture, clean lines, and shimmering glow of the rotating panels. However, it was the jewelry house’s signature ‘pear’ diamonds, floating gracefully in an invisible setting, that deeply inspired Yazid Ichemrahen and his festive pastry creation.
Emulating the meticulousness of the greatest jewelers, Yazid Ichemrahen has created a sculptural pastry combining visual sophistication and exceptional flavors. ‘Pâtisserie Repossi’ – an elegant and refined miniature dessert features a delicate vanilla biscuit, a cream made with two rare vanillas from Madagascar and Tahiti from vanilla expert Pierre de Chalais, an almond crisp, and a thin layer of chocolate from La Chocolaterie de l’Opéra. The gourmet creation is covered in a silver glaze reminiscent of white gold and adorned with hand-crafted sugar ‘diamonds’ evocative of jewelry from Repossi’s historic workshops. These sweet sparkles, seemingly floating in weightlessness, reflect the elegance and innovation of the ‘Serti sur Vide’ collection.
Presented in a jewelry box, this exclusive pastry is an ode to luxury and precision. Available from 20 November 2024 to 6 January 2025, this unique dessert, bearing the signature of Yazid Ichemrahen, will be available for €52 at Le Bar Long.
